Telomere length analysis

Telomere length analysis is available via long-read NanoPore and PacBio sequencing.

Telomere sequencing service using Nanopore TeloSeq

Nanopore TeloSeq is a new method that sequences telomeric and peritelomeric regions. The recommended starting amount of tissue is preferably 15ug of high molecular weight DNA.

Bioinformatic measurement of telomere sequences based on PacBio Revio full genome sequencing.

Human telomeres are 5-15 Kb long, and rodent telomeres are 30-100 Kb long. The telomere sequence is enriched with GGGTTA repeats, but telomere sequences are quite variable and contain enough variability to allow for using long reads to measure telomere lengths by aligning reads to the T2T sequence. PacBio Revio whole genome sequencing includes the telomeres and allows for the measurement of telomere length from the obtained whole genome sequence.

Pricing for the long-read DNA sequencing using Revio.   Additional bioinformatic analysis for extraction of telomere lengths is offered.
